Frequently Asked Questions

 How long is the season? 
       Our program is 16 weeks, beginning at the end of June and running till mid-October.
How are the boxes customized?
       1. Select your preferences at signup. Take in to account your taste preferences (or even allergies) as well as               what you are growing in your own garden.
       2. You will receive an email a few days prior to each delivery. In it you will be notified of what is coming in your             box that week based on your preferences from step 1. Links will be provided for you to follow where you will             be able to make changes to your box by swapping items and/or purchasing extras.
What happens if I have holidays planned? 
       Not a problem.  Just place a holiday hold on your chosen weeks.  Holiday holds stop all share types for that             week (vegetables, fruit, meat, eggs).
How does a holiday hold work? 
       You skip your chosen week and then:
            1. forfeit the delivery. If you choose the payment plan, you will not be charged the 50% remaining balance.
            2. double it up on another week during the season. You can choose which week you will receive the double                  share.  If you are on a biweekly share - you can choose to get the extra box on an "off" week.
            3. leave the balance on your account for use in the online store at any time through the season.
            4. Not available yet, but we're working with Harvie crew to set up a "prorated season" where you can sign                  up for a part season.
How do I pay? 
       Use your credit card to pay.  It will be kept on file (securely) for payments and extras orders.
Does the entire balance need to be paid upfront? 
        No!  You may pay in full, but there is a payment plan available.  Payments are set up as 25% on signup, 25%          on first delivery, and then 50% of the weekly balance is billed to your credit card each week during the                      season.  All payments are set up to automatically be taken from your credit card so you don't need to worry              about forgetting a payment.
What happens if I don't make it to my pickup location in time? 
       You can text your farmer to get it brought to another location (the next day preferred).  If no contact has been           made with your farmer, your veggies will be donated to a Food Bank.
Where do I pickup our shares?
        Go to the locations page to see the options we have. Select your preferred location during signup. It is                      possible to do temporary changes on weeks you can't make the location you signed up for.
